We stay away from God in so many ways. We wear masks. We pretend we’re okay. We stay busy. We cover up. Oh yes, we pray… But that’s when we need something from Him.
This Lent, God is telling you, “Don’t stay far. Come closer. Expose your wounds. Get out of your isolation. Confess your sins. Seek help from close friends. Seek help from trusted mentors. Be authentic. Be accountable. Come as you are.”
